Step Up Surf offers Private Crew Surf Lessons designed for groups of 4 or more people who want to learn and surf together. These sessions are suitable for beginners and intermediate surfers of any age, making them perfect for friends, families, or teams looking to share a fun experience in the water.
Our lessons take place at Southport Beach, an ideal spot for learning thanks to its small, gentle waves and safe conditions. With guidance from our certified instructors, your group will build confidence, develop new surfing skills, and enjoy a fun and supportive session in the ocean.

Step Up Surf runs surf lessons in all weather and surf conditions, providing it is safe to do so. If the conditions are unsafe due to high winds or lightning, or too big waves, then we will reschedule your lesson. If you are unable to come to the new lesson, then we will provide a credit toward another lesson at a later date. If that is unsatisfactory we may issue a refund at our discretion.
If you would like to reschedule a lesson you have booked, we need at least 24 hours notice.
Failure to give the necessary notice will mean that under these circumstances, there are no refunds, partial or otherwise.
