Step Up Surf provides group surf lessons tailored for beginner to intermediate surfers. Our group sessions take place at Southport Beach, a perfect location for learning to surf with its small and gentle waves. Our certified instructors will help you maximise your lesson, acquiring new surfing skills while enjoying a fun, thrilling, and most importantly, safe surfing experience.

Family Pack!
We offer a Family Pack if you are thinking to have a great time in the ocean with your loved ones catching waves. Have fun with this one-of-a-kind opportunity! Family Pack includes two adults and two kids (under 14yo).

Step Up Surf runs surf lessons in all weather and surf conditions, providing it is safe to do so. If the conditions are unsafe due to high winds or lightning, or too big waves, then we will reschedule your lesson. If you are unable to come to the new lesson, then we will provide a credit toward another lesson at a later date. If that is unsatisfactory we may issue a refund at our discretion.
If you would like to reschedule a lesson you have booked, we need at least 24 hours notice.
Failure to give the necessary notice will mean that under these circumstances, there are no refunds, partial or otherwise.
